#LiveOneLove (1L cards, lahaina skatepark, sharing pizza, & instagram winner @bighemi1
Students gave away most of these cards and stickers at their high school and a couple boxes of "Life Books" this week w/Unashamed Maui.
We had a great time skating Lahaina last Saturday night and having some great 1L conversations with Elijah who plans to help us Rep 1L in Lahaina. Here is a video from Saturday night of Jose dropping in.
We are deeply grieved that Jayden, who took this video, died the following day at the beach. We send our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Jayden. Jayden's life will be remembered for a long time, and we are praying for you to have hope and help as you grieve this tragedy.
Wednesday, we skated Keo for a few minutes and took some pizzas to contribute to the time remembering Jayden. Jayden would have been 18 on Wednesday, and we were encouraged to see friends coming together to skate, eat, and remember his life.
