Update from Pro Skater Tim Byrne Maui Ministry time & One Love Lahaina

It was amazing to see God open doors to share Jesus at Kamehameha Schools, King’s Cathedral Maui, and especially for the One Love Lahaina event at Citizen Church!

Students and adults were inspired at all of the events, and the truth & love of Jesus was clearly communicated with actions and words.

One Love Lahaina was also a great success. One of our leaders shared that over 300 people attended. 75 people signed waivers and skated. Thankful for great weather and incredible collaboration for Team Jesus with Aloha Skatepark, Mana Mentors, Citizen Church, and Harvest Kumulani Church. So many other great companies like Eternal Riders and Hi-Tech and Aloha Skateboards supported as well! Tim Byrne did a phenomenal demo. Flamingo Rider played rad skate punk. Also, we had the privilege of giving away over 30 complete skateboards given from faith-based and non faith-based companies, along with decks, bikes, and lots of merch. Also, through a donation-based raffle, Mana mentors raised $1100 for the Lahaina Community. We also gave away Bibles, and people connected in the community to life-giving relationships and resources. Shout out to Cole from Aloha Skatepark for organizing the whole thing with the best spreadsheet we’ve ever seen made for a skate event. We praise God that the One Love of Jesus was known and shown by many!
